The third semester MBA students of SDIT, Mangalore visited Campco Ltd, Puttur and Master Plannery, Puttur. The students experienced and learnt about the operations inside the Campco Ltd (Chocolate Factory) and Master Plannery (Manufacturing Concoor products). Mr Naveen Kumar, Asst. Students came together and joined in the act of breaking pots by forming pyramids. As every year, this time too it made a breathtaking sight for all those who had gathered at the campus to watch the spectacle. Dr Dilip Kumar, Principal, SDIT, the H.O.D's of various departments and the staff members witnessed the ‘Mosaru Kudike”, cheering the participants throughout.

"Risk Leads to Success" Mr Anand Kumar S. K.
The invited guest lecture was delivered by Mr Anand Kumar S. K., Managing Director, Master Plannery, Puttur on 23rd August, 2013 at the Auditorium. Mr Anand Kumar highlighted the opportunities available and on the ethics to be followed by entrepreneurs. Speaking in the lecture, he highlighted on the point of how the jobs are created through entrepreneurship.
Master Plannery uses concood (a name given for concrete that looks like wood) to produce everything that can be made out of wood and even a few other things for which wood is not used ranging from desks, benches, tables, chairs, sofas, cots, doors and windows to ventilators, ceiling, rafters, panel boards, fence poles, kennels, ladders, staircase and much more.

Guest Lecture on Mind Power Magic by Mr Ramani Venkat
An interactive guest lecture was delivered by Mr Ramani Venkat, Co-founder of Varnaaz Leaders Factory on 7th August, 2013 at the Seminar Hall, Shree Devi Institute of Technology.
