P. from First Year MBA have been the runners up in Potpouri event at Ad Ventures, A two day National Level Advertisement Exhibition and Competition organised by The Department of Business Administration, St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, Mangalore, held on 29th and 30th April, 2013.

Annual College Day was held on 27th April
The annual college day celebrations of Shree Devi Institute of Technology was held on 27th April, 2013 at Loyola Hall, Mangalore. Mr Narendra L. Nayak, Chairman, Expert Educational and Charitable Trust was the chief guest of the function.
“Students should enrich and enhance their academic and general knowledge and involve in research and study by utilizing the well equipped Library/Laboratory facilities in their institution. Graduation should not only be the primary aim and objective, but they should compete in the competitive exams like IAS, IRS, IPS to achieve success in their future professional life”, Mr Nayak said.

Shrinivas Institute of Management Studies are Echelon-13 Champions
Valedictory ceremony of Echelon – 13 was held on 6th April, 2013 at 4.45 pm at the auditorium of Shree Devi Institute of Technology. The two day national level management and cultural fest had participation from 22 colleges. Shrinivas Institute of Management Studies, Pandeshwar are the overall champion and A. J. Institute of Management Studies, Mangalore are the runners up.
Mrs Maina S. Shetty secretary of Shree Devi Education Trust presided over the program. Ms Priyanka Shetty, Trustee, Shree Devi Education Trust was the guest of honour.
Mr Navin Kumar, Staff Coordinator, Echelon-13, presented the report on Echelon – 13. Mr Suraj Noronha, Assistant Professor, SDIT announced the prize winners names. Prof. (Lt Cdr.) P. K. Suresh Kumar, HOD-MBA, SDIT welcomed the gathering and Mr Blesson Joseph proposed the vote of thanks. The program was compeered by Ms Shishira & Ms Sreevidhya.

Inauguration of Echelon 13 at SDIT
The inauguration of Echelon – 2013, was held on Friday 5th April 2013, at 9.30 a.m at PG Block Auditorium, Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Kenjar, Mangalore. The Department of Business Administration (MBA), Shree Devi Institute of Technology has organized this national level Management & Cultural Fest.
Shri A. Sadananda Shetty, chairman, Shree Devi Education Trust, Mangalore, had welcomed all the guests who have gathered for Echelon – 2013. Mr. Nidhish Shetty, Vice Chairman, Shree Devi Education Trust, Mangalore was the guest of honor. Dr Dilip Kumar K Principal, Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Mangalore. Has told Echelon – 2013 is giving a wonderful opportunity for all the students from various collage to participate and show their talents.
Prof. (Lt. Cdr) P.K. Suresh Kumar, HOD, MBA department, Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Mangalore, in the address said that Echelon – 2013 is the 4th function in the series of our college, and 25 teams from different country is going to participate for Echelon – 2013. And he also told participants will really benefit by taking part in this fest. Finally he wished all the participants.

Press Meet for Echelon 2013
The Press Meet regarding the national management and cultural fest, Echelon 2013 was held at the Mangalore Press Club on 4th April, 2013 at 11:00 am. Dr Dilip Kumar K., Principal, SDIT., Prof. (Lt Cdr.) P. K. Suresh Kumar, HOD-MBA, SDIT., Mr Navin Kumar, Staff Coordinator, Echelon 2013., Mr Suraj Francis Noronha, Assistant Professor, SDIT , and Mr Justin Pais, Student Coordinator, Echelon 2013 were present during the press meet.

The
Department of Business Administration (MBA), Shree Devi Institute of
Technology is conducting a national level management and cultural
fest Echlon’13
on
5th
and
6th
of April. More than 25 teams are expected to participate in the fest
from all over India.
The
fest will include events like-
- Mustang (Ice breaker) – This is a team event were the teams will be judged based on their team work and creativity.
- Numero-UNO(Best Manager) – MBA students are groomed to be future managers. This event tries to identify the best qualities of a manager.
- Equinor (HR Event) – The best executive is the one who has sense enough to pick good men to do what he wants to do and self restraint to keep from middling with them while they do it.
- Adal Bnto (Finance Event) – A big part of financial freedom is having your heart and mind free from worry about the the what if..
A weak currency is
the sign of a weak economy… money making isn’t wasy…if yes,
prove it…
- Spohto (Marketing Event) – The point to remember about selling things is that, while creating atmosphere and excitement around your product, you’ve got to know what you are selling. Don’t bring your need to market place, bring your skills.
- Prufung (Business Quiz) – Knowledge is of no value, unless you put it into practise.

Nachle (Group Dance), Jugalbandhi (Group Song), Step-Up (Solo Dance),
Jalwa (Fashion Show), and Sweet Talk (Mime Show)
SDIT
is situated near to the Mangalore International Airport, Kenjar,
which shines brightly like a star. The surrounding scenic beauty
provides all budding managers and engineers a calm and peaceful
environment. The best infrastructure facilities, qualification
education and disciplined environment makes the college proud. The
MBA programme of the college is affiliated to Vishveshwaraya
Technological University (VTU), Belgam. The college offers Finance,
Marketing and HR specialisation.
Along
with the academics the students are encouraged to participate in the
extracurricular activities. The MBA students have taken a lot of
effort to conduct this national level fest.
The
inauguration function will be held on 5th
of April at 9.30 am. The chief guests of today’s function Rev Fr
Joseph J Lobo Director, St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor,
Mangalore.
The
valedictory function will be held on 6th
April, 2013 at 4: 30pm, the chief guest of the function will be Dr
Narayan Kayarkatte, Director, MSNM Besant Institute of P.G. Studies,
Bondel, Mangalore
