Inauguration of Echelon 14

The inaugural function of Echelon 14, a national level management and cultural fest was held on Friday 14th March 2014, at 9.30 am at college Auditorium. The 2 days fest is organised by the Department of Business Administration (MBA), Shree Devi Institute of Technology. The chief guest for the inaugural function was Air Vice Marshal K. Ramesh Karnik (Retd), Former Director, Justice K. S. Hegde Institute of Management, Nitte. In his speech, he advised the students to remember three things in work place i. e., first given importance to the organizational goal. Second, obey the leader and honour his sentence. Third, Not to be selfish and think of our own requirement, rather to keep requirement as the last preferences. Dr Dilip Kumar K., Principal, SDIT applauded the work put in by the Department of Business Administration and wished the best for the participant.

Mr. Nidhish S. Shetty, Vice Chairman of Shree Devi Education Trust, presided over the function and Mrs Priyanka N. Shetty, Trustee, Shree Devi Education Trust, was the guest of honour.

Prof. (Lt Cdr) P. K. Suresh Kumar, H.O.D., of Department of Business Administration, SDIT and Convener of Echelon 14 welcomed the gathering and Mr Suraj Francis Noronha, Staff Co-ordinator, Echelon 14 proposed the vote of thanks. Mr Sandesh Shetty, Students Coordinator, Echelon 14 and Mr Nasar Kalander, Students Assistant Coordinator were present on the dias. Mr Shefin Jaffer and Ms Sharon D’Cunha compeered the program.

The H.O.D.’s of various departments, the staff, the MBA students of SDIT and the participants from various colleges were present for the function.
