Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme

The students of second year MBA of Shree Devi Institute of Technology attended a Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme on 25th March, 2013 organised jointly by the Kanara Small Industries Association, MSME, and Vijaya Bank at C. N. Shetty Convention Hall, Bikampady Industrial Estate, Mangalore.

The program was inaugurated by Mr S. G. Hegde, Joint Director, DIC., The guests of honour were Ms Kusuma B. M., DGM Vijaya Bank, Mr P. Suresh Bhat, Director NITK-STEP and Mr K. Socrates, Director MSME-DI.

 The seminar provided inputs on

1. How students can begin their entrepreneurial carrier.
2. What are some of the essential traits of good Entrepreneur.
3. Who is an entrepreneur and why an entrepreneur and why an entrepreneurship development program is so important an agenda for the economic progress of a location/ region/ nation / global economy.
4. What are the ecosystems / sufficient mechanisms available for a Techno Entrepreneur?
5. Practical illustrations of successful start-ups and innovations.
