Inauguration of First Year MBA

The inaugural of the first year of MBA (2013-15 batch) was organized by Department of Business Administration at Shree Devi Institute of Technology, at the Auditorium, New P. G. Building of the Kenjar campus, Mangalore on September 6th 2013.

Dr V. K. Thalitaya, President, Primacy Industry Ltd, Mangalore, was the Chief Guest of the function and inaugurated the MBA course by lighting the lamp.

Dr Talitaya, in his address stated the importance of teaching and learning process, the need for Knowledge assimilation, he also mentioned about how
to become a successful manager. The simple idea he gave “Be simple, be honest, be frugal”. Shri A Sadananda Shetty, chairman of SDIT said in his presidential speech by addressing the gathering with inspirational words “There is no substitute for hard work”.

Dr Dilip Kumar K., Principal SDIT addressed the fresher’s and highlighted on the achievements of the college. He appreciated the Department of Business Administration, SDIT for securing cent percent result in the 4th Semester, MBA exams of the last batch. Shri A Sadananda Shetty, Chairman, Shree Devi Education Trust presided over the function. Lt Cdr (Prof.) Suresh Kumar, H.O.D., Department of Business Administration, SDIT welcomed the gathering. Mr Navin Kumar, Asst. Prof., SDIT introduced the Chief Guest of the day. Mr Suraj Francis Noronha Assistant Professor, SDIT introduced the Chairman of SDIT. The vote of thanks proposed by Mr Abhaya Kumar, Assistant Professor, SDIT. The prayer song was lead by Mr Nithin Pattery and Ms Soumya Shetty, Assistant Professor, SDIT was the master of the ceremony.
