Management Exhibition on “Innovation and New Product Development”

The inauguration of the Management Exhibition on “Innovation and New Product Development” was organized on 18th September, 2013 at Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Kenjar, Mangalore. It was inaugurated by Mr Pavannjaya, General Manager, Friends Veneer & Ply, Mangalore. He congratulated the students, for the efforts that they had put in and said that the exhibition would help to improve their creativity.

The Exhibition provides opportunity for the students to know the latest trends in new product development. Nearly 2500 students from various degree colleges from around Mangalore are expected to visit the exhibition. The exhibition is open till 26th September, 2013.

Various models and exhibits are prepared by the MBA students to give a glimpse of innovation and also to expose them to the concept of new product development, thereby creating an awareness about, ‘thinking out of the box’ so as to accelerate the young minds to move along with the rapid change in industry.

Dr Dilip Kumar K., Principal, Shree Devi Institute of Technology presided over the function. Lt Cdr (Prof.) P. K. Suresh Kumar, H.O.D, Department of Business Administration welcomed the gathering. The faculty and the MBA students of the college participated in the inauguration.
