Guest Lecture on Global Business Scenario and Challenges for MBA's


An invited guest lecture was delivered by Dr Dileep Kumar Mohanachandran, Professor, University Utara Malaysia, Sintok, Kedah, Malaysia on 12th August, 2013. The guest lecture was organised by the Department of Business Administration, Shree Devi Institute of Technology to help the students understand the global business scenario and what challenges are faced by the MBA's. Dr Dileep Kumar M. stressed on the point of how the times have changed and that the students should look at what the industry wants and try to acquire those skills.  He stressed on how the technology drives the management and why the MBA's today need to be updated with the latest software's and technology used in the industry today.

Dr. Dileep Kumar M is having 17 years of experience teaching, research, consultancy and training. He has worked at many prestigious institutes in India and abroad like Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), Sultanate of Oman, Ministry of Manpower (MoMP), Sultanate of Oman, Symbiosis Centre for Management and HRD (SCMHRD), India, International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), etc. India.

With a double post graduate in Human Resource Management, MPhil in labor studies and Doctorate in Organisational Behaviour, he has written 80 short case studies in the area of OB/HR and Management, 85 international and national peer reviewed journal publications and 56 online publications. He has presented 40 papers in international and national conferences and the papers are published in the conference proceedings. He chaired the various International and National Conferences, in India and abroad. He obtained best research paper awards in the SJBIT National Conference, in 2009 and Institute of Public Enterprise National Conference, Hyderabad in 2009.
He was selected as best employee in Ministry of Manpower Colleges, Sultanate of Oman, during 2010. He got the 'outstanding performer in academics' recognition from the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), Sultanate of Oman in 2011. He has guided more than 1000 Postgraduate students, MPhil students and now guiding PhD students.

He has published many books and monographs like, Glue of Organizational Culture, Impact of Organisational Culture Upon Employees and Employers Behaviour, Case Studies in Organisational Behaviour Human Resource Management and Management, 50 Short Case Studies in Management, Stress and Coping Strategies, Innovative Ways to Combat Job Stress etc

He worked as a corporate trainer in the areas of attitude development, effective habit management, goal setting and career development, transaction analysis, Work Culture through HR initiatives, stress management, business ethics, team building, motivation and leadership.
