Lecture on Cross Cultural Diversity

An invited guest lecture was delivered by Dr Anjali Ganesh, Professor, Department of Business Administration, St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Vamanjoor, Mangalore on 15th February, 2014 at the Seminar Hall, SDIT on the topic “Impact of Cross Cultural Diversity on people practices – International context”. 

The knowledge sharing process was very effective as Dr Anjali Ganesh elaborated on the overview of Brazil which she had visited and how it differs from India in terms of culture, dressing, preference, language, adaptability of an individual into organization culture and context. Altogether this session was a virtual trip for the students to Brazil in understanding their cross cultural differences and its prominence. 

Lt Cdr. (Prof.) P. K. Suresh Kumar, H.O.D., Department of Business Administration, SDIT presided over the programme. Mr Shefin Jaffer Introduced the guests and Ms Shishira Raj proposed the vote of thanks. The MBA students and the staff members participated in the lecture.
